Brittney L. Fields, Esquire is a Family Law Attorney at DADvocacy Law Firm, where she devotes her time to zealously representing her clients in family law matters. She was born and raised in Miami, Florida and attended Coral Reef Senior High School’s Legal and Public Affairs Magnet Program. Brittney received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice. Following completion of her undergraduate studies, Brittney received her Juris Doctorate degree from Charlotte School of Law in Charlotte, North Carolina.
While obtaining her law degree, Brittney served as a member of the John S. Leary Association and Black Law Student Association. Brittney completed a federal judicial internship with the Honorable Judge Patrick A. White of the Southern District of Florida, United States District Court. Brittney interned at a Family Law Firm, where she worked closely with attorneys in advocating for clients in all areas of their case. She also interned with Florida Legal Services in Miami, Florida. Brittney became a Certified Legal Intern and represented clients through her law school’s Family Advocacy Clinic. Brittney also volunteered with the Charlotte Law Literacy Program, Crisis Assistance Ministry, Habitat for Humanity and Domestic Violence Healthcare Project.
Prior to joining DADvocacy, Brittney served as an Assistant Regional Counsel at the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, Third Region. She worked in the area of Dependency where she gained invaluable non-jury trial experience by representing parents who lost custody of their children. Brittney then went on to work a personal injury attorney and ultimately transitioned to DADvocacy law firm.
During her free time, Brittney enjoys giving back to her community. Together, with her close friends, Brittney founded I am a Jewel, a non-profit organization that is geared towards mentoring at risk adolescent girls. She is also a member of Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Association and Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar.
